Come to your trial with ideas of your dream wedding day look - photos for inspiration are helpful to us! But keep an open mind! We will give our best and most honest opinion on what works for you!
Bring any hair accessories you plan on wearing on your big day.
Try to make your hair and skin as close to what it will be like on your wedding day.
Come with clean, dry hair and do not use any hot tools on it before we style it. Hair that has been previously curled or straightened is harder for us to style. Blow drying with a styling spray or mousse is recommended though!
Come with a clean, moisturized face for your makeup application, but it is also helpful for us to see how you regularly wear your makeup on a daily basis so bring a photo!
After your trial, take plenty of photos in many different locations! Check out your hair and makeup in different light. And of course, get opinions from your closest friends and family!
Before your wedding-
Get your hair color done within 2 weeks of your wedding if possible. Ask us at your trial if you should get a haircut - sometimes its best to leave your ends uncut!
If you have difficult skin - see a dermatologist or esthetician for a skin care regimen! Our makeup can correct discoloration, but there is not much we can do for uneven texture or wrinkles.
Drink a lot of water and get enough sleep!
We book an hour for hair styles and 45 minutes for makeup applications. We will discuss your timeline in depth before your wedding, but please keep this in mind when scheduling your ceremony and photographs!
On your wedding day-
Same hair and skin prep as your trial.
Then sit back and let us take care of the rest! Enjoy your day!
